Team description

We are a Japanese football team based in West London, proudly known as London Japanese Junior. Last year, we celebrated our 30th anniversary — a milestone that reflects our long-standing commitment to youth football and community development. We compete in the Harrow Youth Football League (HYFL), where we had a successful 2024–25 season, finishing as Division Runners-up and Winners of the HYFL Trophy 2025. Our head coach is Brazilian, with a remarkable background: he played in the youth teams of S.E Palmeiras in Brazil and had a professional career in Japan. Over the past 20 years, he has worked extensively with youth academies in the Japanese Professional League, developing several players who have gone on to represent the Japanese National Team. This season marks a new chapter for us, as we participate in International Tournaments for the very first time. It’s an exciting and meaningful opportunity that we believe will be a memorable experience for our players, staff, and families.
